From the Editor

The second year of the new millennium proved to be as exciting as the first with regard to advances in cancer genetics research. We hope to continue to keep the members of MACGN on top of the latest findings.

In addition to changes in science, the new year has ushered in personal changes for some of us, as well. As the new editor of MACGN’s Newsletter, Cancer Genetics News, I have been given the opportunity to share information concerning the most recent activities in the cancer genetics community. The current issue covers topics related to ovarian cancer, in addition to discussing some issues related more generally to genetics. The upcoming spring issue will focus on breast cancer genetics.
