Greetings!

I hope everyone is enjoying the great outdoors during the recent seasonal change. Members of the Johns Hopkins Hereditary Colorectal Cancer Registry and yours truly recently took some time off to spend an evening out at Orioles’ Camden Yards to raise awareness about colon cancer. In this issue, we focus on colorectal cancer, providing articles on year 2000 statistics, risk factors and screening as well as lifestyle changes we all can make to decrease our risk for developing colorectal cancer. We finish off with a review of Katie Couric’s new web site for the National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance. Enjoy!
