Hereditary Prostate Cancer Study

The James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions is seeking volunteers for a genetic study on hereditary prostate cancer. All living family members need to participate. A sample of blood is collected not only from affected members, but also from parents (if living), siblings (both unaffected males and females), aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Eligible candidates must be from families with:

Of particular interest are families with 2 generations diagnosed with prostate cancer with at least 4 affected members and a mean age of diagnosis of 65 years or less.
