Jill D. Brensinger, MS, CGC

Ms. Brensinger is an Assistant in Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. She is a certified genetic counselor with the Hereditary Colorectal Cancer Program at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Ms. Brensinger received her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and her Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.

      Ms. Brensinger provides genetic counseling to individuals and families with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC), and other familial colorectal cancer syndromes. She maintains the Johns Hopkins FAP registry, serves as liaison between families, their physicians, and Johns Hopkins Hospital clinical staff. Ms. Brensinger also assists in the development and implementation of research and clinical projects and provides consultation to physicians and genetic counselors regarding genetic testing for hereditary colon cancer.
