The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) is committed to raising awareness about ovarian cancer and promoting education about the disease that is referred to as the "Silent Killer." NOCC's web site contains not only the basic facts about ovarian cancer but also an Ask the Experts section that allows for submissions. Other features include breaking news about ovarian cancer, directories of gynecologic oncologists and support groups, and articles about the psychological and social aspects of ovarian cancer. The site also offers social support via a discussion board and a real-time chatroom. Lastly, there is a section called "The Garden" which is a tribute to all the courageous women affected by this silent killer.
